Bristol was for many years the only real convention worth attending, and while the choices for the discerning comic fan are now ‘much’ wider this has always been one of my faves.
This year the gig takes place in The Future Inn, right in the heart of Bristol city centre and a stone’s throw from Cabot Circus. Unfortunately it appears that admission is to pre-sales only, but there is still time to get yourself a ticket.
I’ll be there for the whole weekend, with copies of the latest issues of FutureQuake, Something Wicked, Zarjaz and the longest running fanzine in the UK- Dogbreath.
As a convention special I’m taking 50p off the cover of everything produced more than a year ago- so now those back issues are even more worthwhile.
Also for the convention- I’ll have my mammoth pile of sketches with me- spend more than £10 earth money and you can choose one or even request a custom sketch time willing. Also be on the lookout for David Broughton- he is going to be working on a page of art for the next Dogbreath on sunday, make sure you drop by and check his work out.
