This Just In: STAR POLISHERS!

STAR POLISHERS is a six page strip by Mark J Howard and Will 'Burke & Hare' Pickering. The strip is scheduled to appear in Futurequake 16 which will go on sale at the Birmingham expo in October.

This Just in: A Better Place

Completed and ready for printing: A BETTER PLACE is brought to life by Dave Hailwood and Stu Giddings. The team also responsible for Judge Dredd- Death by Misadventure in Zarjaz 09. The strip is five pages and so far is due to appear in FutureQuake 16.

2000 AD prog 1687 contains a first for Tharg- His first script from Robert Murphy.

Regular readers to FQP may well recognise robert as being the writer behind 'THE TWIST' in Something wicked 03, with artist Paul Carter. He was also responsible for 'WORLD CONQUEST' in the Eagle award nominated FQ12, with art by George Coleman.

Robert is also collaborating with George again to bring us 'PAWNSHOP HEART' that is hopefully going to be in Something Wicked 06, later this year.

Congratulations to Robert, here's hoping to see you once again in the pages of 2000 AD

Millarworld!

Over on Millarworld, they have been running what amounts to open auditions for the upcoming CLiNT Mag, of which FQ has had multiple entries. Some of which I didn't even know of till I looked just.

The first was a reworking of 'THE JOY OF TEXT' (Image is a bit NSFW- IMO) by Paul Glasswell & Simon Penter (Who coloured the pages all special-like)

The second is 'THE PROPHET' by Derek Hamill & Andy Scordellis.
